Robbie’s having a sleep, Jenna’s on the farm with DH so the house is nice and silent, no kids running around like lunatics lol!!!
I managed to sit down and scrap a bit yesterday so got to complete 2 pages. Its been ages since I did a 12×12 page lately I have stuck to doing mini albums, so I found it heaps of fun.
I brought Becky Fleck’s Page Maps book a few weeks ago so I used a sketch from that for the “turning on the charm” lo and used a sketch from Scrapbook Dreams Sept challange for the “I’m so clean” page.
I am very excited because I get to go the Autumn Escape scrapbooking Retreat next May. I have permissionn from DH to go, in fact he was very enthusiastic about it and encouraged me to go. Can’t wait.
We have also decided to go away for the weekend on NOv 1st & 2nd. I booked a room at the Bayview Wairakei Resort which is were the Autumn Escape is being held. I decided to go there so that I knew exactly were to go because I will probably drive there by myself.

I’m back after 6months and 25 days I can now connect to the Internet again. For those that aren’t in the know, since moving to the Waikato I have not been able to use the Internet because the phone lines out here are extremely old which makes for a very BAD Internet connection. We are in the new house now but it has taken until today for the phone to be hooked up, thankfully the internet connection isn’t to bad here though I still have to put up with the slow speed of Dial up.
Things on the new farm are going well, Kev is working hard at the moment with calving etc so we don’t get much quality time with him but that should settle down in a few weeks.
The kids are doing great. Jenna has fitted into her school really well and she has made heaps of friends. Robbie has just cut all four molars at once and has also had tonsilitist and an ear infection all at the same time so as you can imagine he has been very very grumpy for the past week, thankfully he has gotten over it all and is back to his usually happy self.
I have found it a bit lonely living so far away from family and friends so I am glad that I now have the Internet back so I don’t feel as isolated. I have really missed keeping up with what everyone is up to.

until we move. The truck has been booked and we have arranged some helpers for the heavy lifting. Most of the packing has been done, there is just the things that we use everyday to be packed. Kev’s last day off work is next Wednesday so we will finish the rest of the packing on Thursday and Friday. We pick up the truck Friday afternoon so we will fill it up with all the house stuff that night so we can get going as early as possible on Saturday. We still have no idea what house we are going to be living in yet so its kind of scary. Kev is going to ring his new boss up today and find out if it has been sorted yet…we kind of need to know an address so we can arrange the power, phone etc to be moved to a new address.
Robbie has been going through a few tuff days with teething, his eye teeth are trying to come through. Both him and I haven’t had much sleep. However he was much better last night and has been asleep now for over an hour so hopefully the worst is over and done with for now. I really hate seeing him in so much pain he is normally such a happy wee thing but the last few days he has been grizzly and very demanding.
Jen is enjoying her new classroom and teachers. She loves that she now has her very own desk to sit at…one thing she hated was having to sit on the floor all-day in her old class. Now we just have to get her through moving and making new friends. Hopefully things will go well and she will adjust to being a a new school.

Yep I have finally done some scrapping. My MOJO has been missing since I was, Oh about 2 months pregnant with Robbie. She is finally back from her very long vacation and is raring to go.
Here’s a few I have done so far
I have decided that I really love doing 6×12 layouts at the moment so that’s what I am going to stick to from now on. I find it very hard to fill up a 12×12 page, 6 x12 is much easier and much more fun.
Went back to see our new boss a few weeks back, the new job looks even better now that we have nutted a few things. Good thing is Kev is not expected to work every weekend…except during calving then its every second weekend…..if he thinks his Herd Managers can handle things by themselves then there is no reason why he can’t have every weekend off. There is one small downfall though, the farm has no house spare at the moment so we are going to be living in a rental down the road (paid for by the farm not us) until they can build us our very own brand new house on the farm. That means we will have to do 2 moves in the space of about 6 months but at lest we will get a new house in the end.
Jen has been booked into her new school which she is very excited about getting to make some new friends. There is a Playcenter just down the road for Robbie to go to so all is good.
I have made a start on the packing but still have tons to go. Jen’s play room or should I say pigsty is going to be a huge challenge. I have thrown away heaps already but she still has tons of toys that she won’t let me throw out….might wait until she has gone back to school and have another go when she’s not around to rescue things from the trash.
Well beter go Robbie is packing a major tantrum.

I am not too happy with the service that WordPress gives so this post is just a test to see if I can solve some of my issues.
1. I don’t like how uploading pictures works, I normally upload any pictures onto photobucket then use the little tree symbol to upload a pic but I find this way to time consuming especially when you are on dial up…..so I am going to try the other way ( uploading straight from the “write post” page) if that doesn’t work I might just have to give up and go back to blogspot, uploading pics was much easyer.
2. I don’t like that there isn’t many templates I like and putting in customised headers is a problem too, mine always turn out very blurry and pixalated (sp?) so will have to research that problem too…if I can’t solve it I am going back to blogspot.
OK so uploading straight from the write post page worked, might have to stick with WordPress after-all, now I just have to work on the header thing.
I can’t believe how fast the past 7 1/2 months has flown by were has my little tiny buba gone 
Robbie can now crawl, he has his two bottom front teeth and the other day I caught him standing up in his cot after a sleep so I had to lower his mattress down onto the big baby level. He seems to be able to do more and more every day, next is walking, so not looking forward to that.
The house has been “Robbie proofed “.
I have bars across the TV and DVD to stop him pocking his hands in the video slot, bits of ply board across the door way leading into my Scrapbook room to stop him falling down the steps, the bathroom, toilet and bedroom doors have to be shut at all times to prevent him getting into things he shouldn’t, ie the toilet bowl yuk!!!!!. He gets very frustrated and throws a wobbly when he can’t get his own way lol!!!!!
Yippee today is Jenna’s last day at school, no more making lunches everyday, no more getting Jenna up and off to school and no more driving her and picking her up from school……ahhhhhh bliss!!!!!!!
Jenna is meant to go to school for half a day tomorrow but she has been invited to a Birthday Party at Rainbows End so I will drive her up there drop her off with her friends then go and do some last min shopping at Manukau…hopefully it won’t be too busy.
Robbie is teething hard out at the moment so he is really grizzly, poor think they are giving him hell, hopefully they will break their way through before Christmas Day because having a grizzly grumpy baby when you have to sit down for a formal lunch at the in-laws with the whole extended family won’t be any fun at all!!!!!
Jen has her production tonight, so we are off to watch her be a mermaid. I hope Robbie behaves or else I will spend most of the time outside.
Well supose I beter go and get Jen from school…I don’t want to but at least this is the last time for 8 weeks yeha!!!!

1. There is only 2 weeks until Christmas. I am so dis-organized this year, I have still got heaps of presents to buy…..I have no idea where the money is meant to come from to buy those presents….good thing Puke has several $2 type shops LOL!!!!
2. Robbie is now 6 months old and can sit by himself. He is also very mobile and loves to do rolly polly’s around the floor, he has also just started to “commando crawl”.
3. Because Robbie is now so mobile, I can’t leave him alone on the couch and go and do stuff…..I found this out the hard way last week when he fell off said couch, only thing is he fell out of his highchair the day before and smacked his head on the kitchen floor, you would think I would learn from my mistakes but no, I so do not get the “Mummy of the Week” award 
4. Jen is getting very scratchy and throws huge temper tantrums at the moment, then I suppose being this time of the year she is most probably tired and need a break so I can’t really blame her. Thing is its very hard to be patient with her when your sleep deprived because a certain 6 mth old little boy won’t sleep through the night I can’t wait until school finishes, no getting up early and no making school lunches Ye Ha!!!!!!
5. We found out the other day that our neighbour is going to be looking at employing someone to milk his cow next March. We a seriously thinking long and hard about applying for the job. It would mean Kev giving up having every weekend off ,but the upside is that we would get more money and anything is better than the job he is in right now. His boss is a complete nut case and has absolutely no idea what he is doing, it makes Kev job very very hard, he really needs a change.
5. In case you hadn’t noticed I changed my blog template…..they do say a change is a good thing right? The pic is one from a photo shot I did with my new camera. Its going to be on my Christmas cards this year….when I find time to make them that is

Yep I’ve been a very bad blogger again….just can’t seem to get into the rhythm of blogging more often. I blame it on a number of things:
1. I am too tired from lack of sleep ( perils of having a 6 month old)
2. I just don’t have the time ( another peril of having a 6 month old)
3. My Internet connection is way too slow and I get bored with waiting.
4. My life just isn’t that interesting so I have to save up everything that’s happening for a number of day’s just so I don’t bore you all to death LOL!!!!
Things are going really well. We are finally getting used to having a new baby in the house and I am now starting to feel that I have some control over my life. Robbie isn’t the worlds greatest sleeper but he is such an easy and cruisey baby that it kind of makes the lack of sleep more bearable. He is growing heaps every day and is now having 3 bottles of formula 3 solid meals a day and I am still breastfeeding basically on demand…..you can see why I don’t have much time to blog or do any scrapbooking can’t you.
Kev and I have made the decision to move on from the farm we are on. We are not too sure if we are going to go onto another beef and sheep farm or go back to milking. We went for a job interview yesterday on a beef and sheep farm at Rangariri. The job is exactly what we were looking and in a good location….not to far from were we are now…. the only thing is it pays $9000 a year less than what we are on now and the house was way to small. There is no way we could survive on that amount of money and we also promised Jenna that we would stay were we are until after Christmas so if we took the job it would mean that we would be moving within 3 weeks. Guess we will just have to keep on looking, hopefully something will come up in the New Year.
Oh you now my new camera, my pride and joy well Jenna dropped it and now its going to cost $236 to get it fixed. THAT”S ALL I HAVE TOO SAY ABOUT THAT LOL!!!
